Recognizing greatness, big and small!

BRODHEADSVILLE, PA: We just announced our first Asset to the Planet! Congratulations to Pat Stone creator and editor of Green Prints Magazine and, now, a recognized Asset to the Planet!

What’s an Asset to the Planet? It’s an honor we are bestowing on special people, businesses, or organizations.  Maybe they’re doing good deeds, maybe they’re a pleasure to do business with, or maybe they’re just plain nice.   We believe it’s time to recognize them.

Who are we? We’re The Liquid Fence Company and we’ve spent the last 13 years creating an expanding line of eco-friendly animal repellents and gardening related products including America’s #1 selling Deer & Rabbit Repellent.  We’re a small Made-in-America company, happily (and successfully) making “green” products in the “Go Green” lawn and garden industry.

Deb Talarico, creative director for The Liquid Fence Company sums up why we created Asset to the Planet this way, “Every now and then you come across someone who seems to go the extra mile, do the right thing or make your day a little sunnier.  We’re not talking about the next Gandhi – we’re talking about everyday people that deserve a ‘thanks’ for their dedication and contribution to our world.”

Why Pat Stone? In a world of instant gratification and digital imagery, Pat uses his very unique Green Prints Magazine to highlight the human element of gardening and to showcase traditional artists and illustrators.  Learn more about Pat and his “Weeder’s Digest” click here.

Who’s next? Every month we will be choosing a new Asset to the Planet.  So if you know a person or organization who makes the world we live in just a little bit more inhabitable, nominate them to be the next Asset to the Planet!  At the end of the year we’ll have our fans, followers, and readers vote for the year’s favorite Asset to the Planet.
