New Scientific Breakthrough Frost Protection Spray for Plants Wins 2010 Mailorder Gardening Association‘s Green Thumb Award
BRODHEADSVILLE, PA — The awards keep rolling in for The Liquid Fence® Company as they add another feather-in-their cap: the 2010 MGA Green Thumb Award for FreezePruf™ – the revolutionary new frost protector spray for plants.
The Green Thumb is the second esteemed award FreezePruf has received, having garnered “Best in Show” at the 2009 IGC Show. The Liquid Fence Company is no stranger to the Green Thumb, winning two of the coveted product awards in 2009 for their Liquid Net for Pets and Liquid Fence Mole Repellent Worms. The multi-award winning company continues to lead the industry with earth-friendly products that are guaranteed to work.
The announcement was made at the recent MGA Winter Conference in Baltimore where FreezePruf™ took top honors in the Tools, Supplies and Accessories division for outstanding new garden product available by mail or online.
“A panel of independent garden communicators thought FreezePruf was one of the most innovative and unique garden products for 2010,” says Randy Schultz, of the Mailorder Garden Association.
Developed by botanists, the eco-safe spray protects ornamentals, fruit and vegetables from frost and freeze damage. It improves a plant’s natural cold tolerance from 2 to 9 degrees Fahrenheit, depending on the variety of plant, helping to extend its growing season by a couple of weeks in early spring and/or late fall.
